Molecular Genetic Pathologist - Hematopathologist - University of Vermont

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at the University of Vermont (UVM) seeks a pathologist with expertise in molecular genetic pathology and hematopathology. This is a full-time position with a faculty appointment on the Clinical Scholar Pathway (non-tenure) at the Assistant Professor rank. The successful candidate will work in the Division of Laboratory Medicine of the Clinical Laboratory at the University of Vermont Medical Center as part of the UVM Health Network. The applicant must be board certified in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology, and board eligible/certified in Molecular Genetic Pathology and Hematopathology. Strong diagnostic skills, including prior experience analyzing and interpreting next-generation sequencing data, are essential. The candidate should be an enthusiastic teacher who will provide education to medical students, residents, fellows and clinicians at interdepartmental conferences. The candidate is expected to pursue scholarly activities such as clinical, translational and/or health services research.
