The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Southern California invites applications for a full time academic appointment with clinical responsibilities in the Clinical Chemistry division of Clinical Pathology. The successful applicant will be expected to contribute to the teaching, service, and research missions of the Department. Clinical responsibilities will include sharing in the medical direction of the clinical chemistry laboratories of the LAC+USC, Keck, and Norris Cancer Hospitals, which are all located on one campus in Los Angeles.

Applicants must hold an M.D. degree with board certification or eligibility in Clinical Pathology or a Ph.D. degree with certification by the American Board of Clinical Chemistry. The successful candidate will have demonstrated a commitment to medical student teaching and to the training of residents and fellows. Having demonstrated abilities in translational and/or clinical research is desirable. Position is for Assistant, Associate or Professor in the clinical track. Academic rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications.
