Academic Hematopathologist - University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine

The Department of Pathology at the University of Pittsburgh is seeking an open rank (non-tenure stream) faculty member for the Division of Hematopathology in the Section of Laboratory Medicine. The candidate must have an M.D. with boardcertification/eligibilityin hematopathology and preferably at least five years of hematopathology practice; experience in a largehospital-based hematopathologyservice and in molecular hematopathology arebeneficial, together with a proven academic track record. The successful candidate for this position will contribute significantly to the varied diagnostic and educational activities of the Division, and pursue clinical/translational or basic investigations. The nine member hematopathology division has a strong interest in hematopathology service, research and education and serves the entire UPMC-Health System. Academic rank, tenure and salary will be commensurate with experience. Eligibility for medical licensure in Pennsylvania and board certification/eligibility is required.
